Meet our Staff
Dr. Robert Treat, Jr.
Dr. Robert Treat, Jr. joined the practice in 1992 realizing 60 years of a family tradition devoted to animal care. Dr. Treat, Jr. received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He then spent a year in Germany on Fulbright Scholarship before continuing on to received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 1992. In his spare time Dr. Treat, Jr. enjoys playing tennis, skiing/snowboarding, hiking, as well as spending time with his wife, Shelley, and their five children, two dogs and two cats.
Dr. Robert Treat Sr
Dr. Robert Treat, Sr. "Dr. Bob" was born in Vermont. He did his undergraduate work at Franklin and Marshall College located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1961 from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY. He is a past president of the Vermont Veterinary Medical Association and the New England Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Treat, Sr. and his wife, Sally, informally retired in 2009, but he still spends a lot of his time helping out around the clinic. In his free time he is active with The Boy Scouts of America, and enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, reading, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Jessica Roosevelt
Dr. Jessica Roosevelt, a native Vermonter, completed her undergraduate work at the University of Vermont and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1996. Dr. Roosevelt has been with Green Mountain Veterinary Hospital since 2000. She resides in Eagle Bridge, NY with her husband, Pete, their two daughters, two dogs, two cats, and 4 lovely hens. Dr. Roosevelt enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, and various artistic endeavors.
Dr. Paul Kotas
Paul Kotas, D.V.M., joined our staff at the end of June 2015. Dr. Kotas is originally from Poland. He has been in the United States since 1986. He received his DVM degree from Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He later completed his Clinical Experience Program for Foreign Veterinary Graduates at Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has extensive experience in preventive veterinary medicine in the Boston area and Cape Cod since 1991. He moved with his family to Manchester in the fall of 2015 and is enjoying exploring the area. We are pleased to have Dr. Kotas as part of our team. We look forward to sharing his professional experience with you and your pets, along with Dr. Robert Treat Jr., and Dr. Jessica Roosevelt.

Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants
Please meet our veterinary technicians and assistants. Amanda joined our team in January 2017. She assists in exam room appointments and in surgery. Laura started in September 2016. She assists in exam room appointments and in our So. Londonderry office. Gwen has been with our hospital since 2015 and is our senior technician. She assists in surgery, exam room appointments and manages our lab/exam and surgery areas. Drew joined us in 2008. He assists in surgery, is our emergency on call assistant and helps maintain our kennel. They are all an integral part of our team!
Sue started working with us as a part time Bookeeper in 2008. Due to her professionalism, outstanding work ethic and management skills, we quickly promoted her to Practice Manager. Sue keeps our hospital running smoothly with her calm demeanor and willingness to take on whatever the day brings! She is pictured here with her dog, Bruin.

Front Office Administrators/ Veterinary Assistant
Please meet our front office team. Holly has been a part of our hospital since 2000. She works in our front office and assists our doctors in exam room appointments. Robin started in 2011 and Terry in 2008, both working in our front office answering our phones, greeting clients and their pets. They all three help keep our hospital running smoothly!.
